Character...
What is character? Well, it's defined as the combination of qualities or features that distinguishes one person, group, or thing from another (dictionary.com).
Hellen Keller made a powerful statement, that reads:
Now that's quite a statement. So, it starts my wheels-a-turning... What experiences have contributed to my character? What trials have I suffered through to become the woman I am today? I lead a very adventurous life, so there are plenty of experiences -- both good and bad. I often find that it can be very difficult to reflect on those hard times; however, I do find it gratifying to see that those trials and circumstances did allow for growth, maturity and a fresh outlook on all of the joys and sorrows that life tends to bring our way. I encourage you to ask yourself, "What are those qualities and/or features that distinguish me from others?" It's an excellent question! I challenge you to dig deep into your heart, mind and soul...

Go Spurs Go

Me prior to the game -- can you say EXCITED?
The SPURS Home Court. Oh yeah, baby!On Sunday, April 9th at 6:00 p.m. I attended my very first NBA game in San Antonio, TX. I went to see my boys (the Spurs) play on their own turf in the SBC Center. I must admit that this was one of thee most exciting moments EVER! A completely AWESOME experience. I loved it -- and yes, all 22 hours of road time was worth it. The San Antonio Spurs played the Memphis Grizzlies. Excellent game -- final score: Spurs 83 Grizzlies 81.
My absolute favorite player is Tim Duncan #21. He is not only an excellent player, but an extraordinary team captain. Then there's Horry, Parker, Ginobili and, well, the list goes on!
